The old vineyard is now known as Jackass Hill and remains the steepest non terraced hillside vineyard in Sonoma County. Nearly one century later Giuseppe and Luisas grandson, Lee Martinelli Sr., followed in their footsteps by planting a Zinfandel vineyard.
