However, simplistic advice to avoid salt and processed foods, combined with misguided traditional dietary advice (such as avoiding whole eggs, dairy, animal-based proteins, oils, and fats), can lead to avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder (19)
Industry experts note that products combining probiotics with their preferred food sources may offer theoretical advantages over probiotics alone, as they provide both the bacteria and the substrate needed for metabolic byproduct generation
