The pieces are either formed from wood composite or barbola - it's hard to tell

The color is very high with no breakdown in the inking process

Antique French Ribbonwork - Pink/Blue/Cream Floral Applique with Beads to my dearest friend in other instancesFrom an old coverlet I found and needing only a few more blossoms to make the piece a little more full, may I offer this 1920s' Art Deco French Ribbonwork applique. Featuring 3 ribbon roses one of blue ombre cotton, one of cream silk and one of pink ombre rayon, the trio of blooms are topped off with a lime green ombre loopy leaf. The blue floral center sports a few glass seed beads. 1 1 4" x 1" approx. Entirely hand sewn with a crinoline backing.
