It is tan beige color with a slight texture, but smooth. It is shaped like a traditional vase with a wide mouth, however inside is a permanent cup meant specifically to hold a weight or anchor for flower stems. The inside bottom is textured to prevent slipping as well as the inside rim of the cup to keep flower stems from shifting.
